This website was created in 2013 by Julia Tulke as part of the research project Aesthetics of Crisis: Political Street Art in Athens in the Context of the Crisis and has documented the ongoing development of the project ever since. Julia earned her PhD in Visual and Cultural Studies from the University of Rochester and serves as Assistant Teaching Professor at Emory University’s Institute for the Liberal Arts.
